Alexa, what time is sunrise today? 🌅

Hello dear reader,

I’ve recently noticed that I’ve got a very telling new habit. In a morning, I blearily come down the stairs to the kitchen, put on the kettle and ask Alexa the same question. Alexa, what time is sunrise today?

And every day she gives a time two minutes earier than the day before and I smile

Spring is on its way, I tell myself (and any family member willing to listen).

Well, today is the first official day of spring. Spring has sprung. Don’t you just love spring? Signs of life in the garden, longer days, easter bunnies, blossom, and chocolate.

It’s also a new season. A fresh start. A great chance to start over, go again and try at something we might have given up at.

I also think that we put way too much pressure on January. We set out intentions for the year ahead in the longest, arguably hardest month of the year and then wonder why we fail. I say less emphasis on January and more on incremental progress through the year.

What about if we made new season resolutions? What about if today was a chance to go again with your hopes for the year, after all, there are still three quarters of it to go. The world is still your oyster and we really don’t need to let previous stoppages impact our resolve to go again.

Today’s podcast episode focuses on exactly this - fresh starts, what helps us succeed and what doesn’t help at all. I’ll also share the one equation you need to figure out in order to make the change you’re really looking for in this new season.

We’ll dive into:

• Action v inaction

• Little shifts v major shifts

• Making changes

• The change equation

• The strategic choices we need to make

• Why reviewing really matter

Happy listening, and happy first day of Spring

Love,
